About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and practical individual to operate our CNC cutting machines, specifically Kinetic Cutting machines and LVD Lasers. In this role, you will also receive training to operate plasma cutters, overhead cranes, and lifting gear. This full-time night shift position is ideal for detail-oriented candidates who enjoy physical work and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
In your role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Operating and maintaining CNC cutting machines (both plasma and laser)
- Loading and unloading steel plates using cranes, forklifts, and lifting equipment
- Ensuring smooth production flow with minimal downtime
- Inspecting parts for accuracy and quality, labeling, and unloading finished products
- Performing basic maintenance on machines
- Working safely and efficiently both independently and as a member of the night shift team
Hours for this position are Monday to Thursday from 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM, totaling 40 hours per week.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience operating CNC machinery (experience with laser or plasma cutting is a plus)
- A forklift license (F endorsement is advantageous)
- A full driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical fitness and a strong focus on safety
- The ability to work independently and complete tasks effectively
