About the Role We are looking for Electricians, Electrical Apprentices, and Overseas Qualified Sparkies to join our team for a significant retirement village project located in southwest Christchurch. This role is perfect for individuals who are detail-oriented and strive for clean, quality installations. You will be part of a close-knit team focused on delivering electrical installations for a large-scale new-build retirement village, where the work maintains a commercial feel with a residential focus. Wages for this position range from $28.00 to $48.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Location: Southwest Christchurch What’s In It For You We offer long-term, steady work with competitive hourly rates. You will receive support with EWRB registration, as well as provided personal protective equipment (PPE). We also assist with Site Safe registration and promote a strong team culture. What You Will Be Doing In this role, you will be responsible for: - Conducting full electrical installations in villas - Reading and interpreting plans - Ensuring that all work is tidy and compliant - Adhering to Health and Safety procedures What We Require We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria: - NZ Registered Electricians (with a current practicing license) - Electrical Apprentices with hands-on experience - Overseas Qualified Electricians who are working towards EWRB registration - A strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship - Site Safe certification (we can assist you in obtaining this if needed) - The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test Please note that all applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
