About the Role We are currently seeking a qualified and registered Electrician to join our team in Central Christchurch. This position involves a variety of residential and commercial projects, and we are looking for someone who is experienced, reliable, and ready to contribute from day one. Location: Central Christchurch Start: As soon as you are ready Pay Rate: $36–$40 per hour In this role, you will be responsible for: - Completing electrical fit-outs in both residential and commercial settings - Installing, testing, and maintaining wiring, switchboards, and lighting systems - Reading and interpreting electrical plans and construction drawings - Performing fault finding and repairs as needed - Ensuring all work complies with current electrical and safety standards Requirements To be successful in this position, you will need: - New Zealand Electrical Registration and a current EWRB practising licence - Experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work - Your own set of tools - The ability to read and follow electrical plans - Attention to detail and the ability to maintain tidy, accurate paperwork - A strong focus on health and safety - A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field Benefits We offer the following benefits to our employees: - Weekly pay at a rate of $36–$40 per hour - Ongoing work with stable project pipelines - The opportunity to work with a reputable Christchurch-based electrical company Why Work with Us?
