About the Role
We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team at Te Nikau Hospital in Greymouth. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week.
As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in the mental health of children and young people across the West Coast, supporting them and their families throughout their journey. The role involves working within the community and within our integrated model of care. We are committed to providing opportunities for professional growth and ongoing development in your role.
About You
We are primarily seeking experienced Clinical Psychologists for this full-time role. However, if your circumstances differ, we encourage you to address this in your cover letter for consideration. To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate the following qualities:
- Clinical credibility and a person-centered approach
- High standards of personal competence and professional practice
- New Zealand Registered Psychologist status with a current Annual Practising Certificate that has no conditions preventing you from fulfilling the role's requirements
- Completion of, or a personal commitment to undertake, cultural competency training
- Ability to work effectively with children
- A full, clean New Zealand driver’s license and the ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle
- Proficiency in computer literacy, including the Microsoft Office Suite
