We are currently seeking a Client Manager to oversee and grow a portfolio of dealers in South Auckland. About the Role In this role, you will establish and nurture strong relationships and valuable business partnerships with our clients. You will provide education and tailored solutions that generate value for both clients and our business. As a knowledgeable and passionate ambassador for Trade Me Motors, you will place customer care at the heart of all your interactions. The position involves managing a portfolio primarily consisting of clients based in South Auckland, and it will require regular travel within your designated territory. Key Responsibilities - Travel within your territory to manage and grow effective relationships with clients in your portfolio. - Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market and industry to become a trusted advisor to your clients. - Understand your clients' commercial and business goals to position Trade Me as their preferred partner in achieving these objectives. - Plan and present product solutions that address your clients' specific needs, leveraging qualitative data regarding their business performance. - Identify and implement new business opportunities using our extensive data set, sharing relevant insights based on Trade Me data. - Maintain an organized call cycle using a common-sense approach. - Utilize our CRM system to track all sales, opportunities, and client interactions. - Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and collaborate with our wider teams to implement beneficial changes for Trade Me and our customers. Requirements - A minimum of two years of experience in a similar Account Management role. - A passion for digital advertising and/or experience in the automotive industry is advantageous, although not mandatory. - A driven and energetic attitude focused on achieving excellent results, with the ability to work independently and know when to close a sale. - Strong relationship-building skills with a consultative approach. - Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating ideas simply and clearly, actively listening to others, and confidently sharing insights. - An understanding of data and the ability to use it effectively when presenting to clients, translating complex concepts into understandable terms.
