About the Role We are hiring full-time Aluminum Fabricators to support various project work throughout New Zealand. This position offers a minimum guaranteed of 30 hours per week and is perfect for experienced fabricators who are flexible regarding relocation or travel. You will have the chance to work on a range of commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects, with specific site locations determined by project demands. Key Responsibilities As an Aluminum Fabricator, your core responsibilities will include: - Fabricating, assembling, and installing aluminum components and structures - Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and blueprints - Operating hand and power tools relevant to aluminum fabrication - Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards - Traveling to different sites as required by project deployment Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria: - A minimum of 3 years' experience in aluminum fabrication, either locally or overseas - Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings - Skills in welding, cutting, and shaping aluminum materials - A trade qualification or NZQA-recognized experience is preferred - Ability to work independently and travel between job sites - A strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety Nationwide Opportunity and Travel While this role is listed in the Nelson-Tasman region, we are recruiting for positions across all areas of New Zealand, depending on project requirements. The regions include: North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington. South Island: Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland. We invite applicants from any of these regions and ask that you are willing to travel or relocate as needed. Please note that relocation costs will be covered by the company. Benefits In addition to a competitive pay rate ranging from $24.00 to $28.00 per hour, we offer full-time, permanent roles, with PPE and tools provided where required.
