About the Role
We are currently seeking full-time Scaffolders to join our team. This is a permanent position with guaranteed minimum hours, and the site location will depend on project demand. We offer competitive pay rates ranging from $26.00 to $40.00 per hour, with a minimum of 30 hours guaranteed each week. We provide all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools, giving you the resources you need to succeed. You will have the opportunity to work on significant infrastructure and commercial projects across New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for building and erecting scaffolding and working platforms for various construction projects. This may also include constructing stands and tiered seating for public events such as concerts and sporting events.
Your duties will include inspecting the areas requiring scaffolding, making calculations to determine the type of scaffolding needed, unloading materials, and assembling tubing and braces to create frameworks. You will also attach ladders, rails, and other components to the scaffolding.
Additionally, you will be responsible for checking and maintaining scaffolding equipment, ensuring that scaffolding structures meet safety standards, and dismantling scaffolding once the job is complete. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have a minimum of two years of relevant scaffolding experience. We value a friendly demeanor, strong time management skills, and a solid work ethic.
A commitment to learning and developing your skills within the industry is essential, as is a sound knowledge of health and safety procedures. We seek reliable and hardworking individuals who take pride in their work.
Nationwide Opportunity and Travel
While this role is based in Tasman, we are looking for candidates to be deployed across all regions of New Zealand, depending on project requirements.
The regions include:
North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington.
South Island: Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland.
