About the Role We are currently seeking a Senior Process Technician to join our team at the Canterbury manufacturing plant. In this role, you will operate our highly automated Dryer, playing a crucial part in transforming milk and ingredients into value-added products. You will be responsible for meeting production processing requirements while also engaging in problem-solving, cleaning, and conducting plant walks and inspections. Your main responsibilities will include: - Operating critical manufacturing equipment within established running parameters - Ensuring that all products are manufactured to specification and produced correctly on the first attempt - Maintaining a high-quality standard within the manufacturing environment - Adhering to good documentation practices - Investigating production, safety, and quality issues to identify root causes - Understanding and applying Integrated Work System (IWS) principles - Managing your time effectively in a fast-paced environment - Communicating effectively with team members and demonstrating a willingness to learn Your proactive approach to meeting processing requirements and your problem-solving capabilities will be key to your success in this role.
