About the Role
We are hiring full-time Scaffolders for permanent positions available nationwide. We are looking for organized and trustworthy individuals who take pride in their workmanship. The successful candidates will be motivated and results-driven, with site locations determined by project demand.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for building and erecting scaffolding and working platforms for various construction projects. You will also construct stands and tiered seating for public events such as concerts and sporting events.
Your duties will include inspecting the areas that require scaffolding, making calculations to determine the appropriate type of scaffolding needed, unloading materials, and assembling frameworks by fitting tubing and braces together. Additionally, you will be responsible for checking and maintaining scaffolding equipment, inspecting structures for safety, and dismantling scaffolding upon project completion. Other duties may be assigned as required.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you should have a minimum of two years of relevant scaffolding experience. We value a friendly demeanor, strong time management skills, and an excellent work ethic. A commitment to learning and developing your skills within the industry is essential, along with a sound knowledge of health and safety procedures. We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team.
Nationwide Opportunity and Travel
While this role is listed in Otago, we are actively recruiting for positions across all regions of New Zealand based on project requirements. These regions include:
North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington.
South Island: Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland.
We invite applicants from any of these regions to apply, and candidates must be willing to travel or relocate as necessary. Please note that relocation costs will be covered by the company.
Benefits
We offer a competitive pay range starting at a minimum of $26.00 per hour, with a maximum of $40.00 per hour, and guarantee a minimum of 30 hours per week. Our roles are full-time and permanent, with PPE and tools provided. This position provides a unique opportunity to work on significant projects while enjoying a dynamic working environment.
