About the Role
We are currently seeking a Class 2 licensed Civil worker for a position based in Amberley, with an immediate start available. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, offering a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same.
In this role, you will be part of a supportive small team, taking on a variety of responsibilities that may include pothole repairs, signage replacement, basic arborist work, and assisting other teams as needed. It is essential that you have experience operating Class 2 vehicles and are proficient with hand and power tools. Previous experience in civil construction is highly desirable.
Reliability and a willingness to contribute to the team are key attributes we are looking for in candidates.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a Class 2 New Zealand Driver's License
- STMS or TMO certification is ideal
- Recent working references
- Previous experience in civil construction
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Physically fit
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Satisfactory Criminal History Check
