About the Role
We are excited to announce an opening for a full-time Stores, Fleet & Equipment Coordinator. This role presents an excellent opportunity for you to make a significant impact within our organization.
In this position, you will be responsible for managing the procurement, delivery, and handover of vehicles and equipment, ensuring compliance with our financial and approval processes. You will oversee the acquisition, leasing, and replacement of fleet vehicles, as well as providing staff inductions for any new or replacement vehicles.
Your role will also include ensuring that all vehicles and equipment meet statutory and Omexom requirements, such as Certificates of Fitness (COF), Warrant of Fitness (WOF), certifications, and risk assessments. You will organize and monitor fleet maintenance, repairs, and inspections, while maintaining detailed maintenance plans and compiling monthly reports.
Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date databases for vehicles and equipment, including calibration, testing, and compliance records in Hilti OnTrack. You will track calibration intervals, arrange for necessary calibrations, and ensure that all test equipment is appropriately labelled and documented.
You will also manage the storage, movement, and quarantine of equipment and stores, ensuring proper organization and segregation of out-of-test or end-of-life items. It is essential that you understand and implement our company health and safety policy, taking reasonable care of your own health and safety, as well as that of others.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have relevant experience in fleet, equipment, or asset management. Additional training in business administration or systems management would be advantageous.
A thorough knowledge of commercial vehicles, equipment, and store operations is essential, along with a strong understanding of statutory regulations and compliance requirements for fleet and equipment. Proficiency in digital asset management systems, such as Hilti OnTrack, and general computer literacy are also required.
You should possess excellent relationship management and communication skills, along with sufficient technical knowledge to liaise effectively with suppliers, service providers, and regulatory bodies. A Class 4 and/or Forklift license would be beneficial.
