About the Role
We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join the kitchen team. In this role, you will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee daily operations and ensure the delivery of consistently high-quality dishes. Your leadership, creativity, and reliability will be instrumental in guiding the team, and you should be prepared to assist with cooking as needed.
Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations. You will also be responsible for training and mentoring junior team members. Maintaining excellent food quality and presentation is essential, and you will ensure that hygiene and food safety standards are always upheld. Additionally, you will assist with stock control, ordering, and menu planning.
What We're After
We are looking for candidates with previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong expertise as a Senior Chef de Partie. You should be a calm and confident leader, even under pressure, and possess excellent communication and time management skills. A passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients is essential, along with the flexibility to work various shifts.
