About the Company
Floriditas is one of Wellington's most iconic all-day eateries and plays a significant role in the local hospitality industry. Our establishment is known for its vibrant atmosphere and dedication to quality, and we are excited to welcome a new team member to our kitchen.
About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced, positive, and ambitious Sous Chef who is ready to take the next step in their culinary career. In this leadership position, you will have the opportunity to contribute both professionally and creatively in a well-organized, professional kitchen. Your skills and knowledge will be valued from day one.
What You Can Expect in This Role

Our Open Book Management training provides insights into the hospitality industry, giving you a better understanding of how our business operates financially while allowing you to actively participate in our management system. You will work closely with our leadership team, with regular check-ins to support your growth and success.
We offer flexible scheduling with a rotating 7-day roster. You will work a minimum of 32 hours per week, which includes six shifts, one of which will be a double shift.
Who You Are

You should have relevant restaurant experience in a fast-paced environment and a collaborative, professional approach to kitchen work. A passion for great food and strong attention to detail are essential qualities we seek.
