About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Group Manager to join our team and make a meaningful impact across 12 stores in the lower South Island region. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our operations, focusing on customer satisfaction, compliance, and fostering high-performing teams. What You Will Do
Customer Centric: You will understand your customers, deliver exceptional service, represent the brand effectively, and ensure that customer offers meet community needs.
Problem Solver: You will coach, develop, and support Store Managers and Functional Leaders while being proactive in adopting new tools and practices.
Operational Performance: You will be responsible for the overall performance of the Group, understand competitive dynamics, and lead business acumen initiatives. Your focus will be on delivering sales, profit, and cost targets while creating a high-performance environment.
Landing Strategy: You will implement strategies for the Zone, collaborate with peers on initiatives, establish strong connections with all Store Managers, and network across the business to drive growth.
Safety Leadership: You will promote a culture of safety and wellbeing while serving as a safety leader within the organization.
Ownership and Management of Change: You will facilitate and lead change initiatives, act as a change advocate, and effectively manage the change process.
People Performance: You will build succession plans, identify future talent, create development opportunities, and support the growth of Store Managers.
Verification: You will lead compliance efforts, ensure knowledge and tools are in place, verify retail fundamentals, and manage associated risks.
