About the Role
We are looking for a visionary General Manager to join our New Zealand Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and lead Ingram Micro’s Partner Sales division in New Zealand. This high-impact leadership position will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of our sales function, fostering long-term partner relationships, and driving revenue growth across key accounts. You will oversee a multi-layered team that includes sales leaders, account managers, and the Key Account Sales team, while shaping the culture, performance, and capabilities within the business.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with proven experience in managing partner or channel sales at a senior level. You should be skilled in leading medium to large, multi-level teams and adept at developing leaders within those teams. A strong commercial and strategic acumen is essential, along with a demonstrated track record of achieving ambitious growth targets.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to influence executives, partners, and teams, while inspiring confidence and engagement across various audiences. You should be comfortable navigating complex markets, identifying opportunities, and driving business transformation.
Key Responsibilities
You will define and drive the partner sales strategy, ensuring it aligns with our organizational goals and market opportunities. Your role will involve inspiring, mentoring, and empowering a large, diverse sales team, fostering high performance and accountability.
You will be responsible for owning revenue and growth outcomes across key partner accounts, driving both profitability and long-term relationships. Regular engagement with senior leadership will be required to report on performance, shape strategy, and identify growth opportunities.
Additionally, you will analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and partner dynamics to inform decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
