About the Role
We are seeking individuals with exceptional customer service skills to join our team at Waikato Hospital. In this part-time position, you will serve patient meals and beverages and assist as a menu processor during periods of leave. This role is perfect for someone with a background in nutrition or food science who is looking to gain experience in a hospital setting.
You will work 35 hours per fortnight, with shifts lasting approximately 3.5 hours each day.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve patient meals on the tray line
- Wash dishes using a commercial dishwasher
- Deliver meals to patients
- Prepare beverages for patients

About Hamilton

About You
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualities:
- Exceptional customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality sector, as you will be interacting with patients in a healthcare environment
- A caring and empathetic approach towards our patients
- A high standard of personal presentation, as you will represent our service in the wards
- Reliability and a strong attendance record
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Availability to work rostered shifts between 6:30 am and 8:30 pm, including weekends and public holidays
- Good computer skills and attention to detail
