About the Role We are excited to offer a part-time opportunity to join our supportive team as a Kitchen Assistant/Cook’s Assistant. This position involves working on Fridays and Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM. In this role, your responsibilities will include: - Assisting the chefs in preparing nutritious, high-quality meals for our residents. - Supporting the preparation and presentation of food. - Collaborating closely with your colleagues. - Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the kitchen. About You To thrive in our caring environment, you will ideally possess the following qualifications and attributes: - A New Zealand Certificate in Cookery (Level 3) or a willingness to obtain one. - Proven experience in food preparation. - The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - A reliable, friendly, and professional demeanor. - A strong focus on food hygiene and cleanliness.
