About the Company
We are collaborating with a well-established civil construction company that operates nationally, serving the Canterbury and Otago regions. This company is dedicated to delivering aggregates and materials to various construction sites, with employees reporting to their Amberley yard each morning.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Class 4 Driver for an immediate start based in Amberley. The ideal candidate will have tipper experience, physical fitness, and a willingness to work as part of a small roading team.
Physical fitness is important for this role, as it involves entering and exiting the cab multiple times throughout the day. You may also be required to perform some duties on the back of the vehicle while spotting and to engage in general truck cleaning as needed by all staff members.
Effective communication skills and experience in reversing Class 4 vehicles are essential, along with a strong emphasis on health and safety, as the majority of your work will take place on highways.
The work schedule for this position is Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 or 5:30 PM, with opportunities to finish earlier on some days. Additionally, there may be options for overtime on Saturday mornings during the summer months, and the chance to pick up work leading up to Christmas.

- Proven experience as a Class 4 Driver
- A valid Class 4 or higher license
- Ability to reverse heavy vehicles
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
