About the Company We are a local contractor based in Christchurch, engaged in various ongoing projects across the Christchurch CBD and in subdivisions through Selwyn. About the Role As we prepare to start several projects in the coming weeks, we are seeking skilled and competent All-Rounders to operate a variety of machinery. We are particularly interested in hiring Digger Operators, Civil Labourers, and Class 4 Truck Drivers with WTR (Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers) certification. The available roles include: Civil Class 4 Truck Driver with WTR: This position involves operating a truck and may require additional laboring duties when necessary. You will also operate a loader and move other machinery as needed. Experience driving on civil sites is essential. All-Round Operator: We are looking for individuals who are confident in operating machinery across various sites. Experience in drainage work is preferred. Civil Labourer: Candidates should have experience working on civil or drainage sites. A Class 2 license to drive a small tipper is ideal. Other responsibilities will include plate compaction, shoveling, and assisting drainlayers and other team members on-site. These roles offer immediate starts for successful candidates, with the potential for long-term temporary to permanent opportunities.
