About the Role
We are currently looking for a skilled Combilift and Class 5 Operator to join our experienced and dynamic team in Ashburton. This full-time position requires demonstrated experience operating a Combilift, along with a valid Class 5 licence.
In this role, you will be responsible for forklift loading and unloading, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our high-quality fleet. We are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle, demonstrates strong in-cab presentation habits, and is flexible to meet our business and seasonal needs. Your attention to safety, maintenance, and vehicle operation will uphold the high standards that our loyal customers and suppliers expect.
Work Pattern
This is a full-time, permanent role with a regular roster that includes:
- Dayshift and Nightshift from Monday to Friday
- Availability every second Saturday
- Average shifts of 10 to 12 hours
What You Bring to the Table
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Class 5 Licence (or equivalent) with at least three years of operating experience
- Experience with Combilift
- F, W, T, R endorsements and an OSH Certificate (preferred but not essential)
- A willingness to learn new technology and adapt as needed
- A passion for teamwork and customer service
