About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for operating excavators for tasks such as trenching, final trim, footings, and demolition. Additionally, you will use loaders for bulk earthmoving, loading trucks, and maintaining site cleanliness.
Your role will involve preparing foundations for asphalt or concrete footpaths while ensuring the safety and functionality of the site, particularly when working around trees, fences, services, and in tight-access areas. You will conduct pre-start checks and perform basic daily maintenance on the machinery. Collaboration with site supervisors and fellow crew members will be essential to ensure the smooth operation of our projects.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who have experience operating excavators and/or loaders on civil sites. A full Class 2 license with WTR endorsements is required.
It is important that you possess a reliable, safety-first attitude and have a good understanding of maintenance checks and machine care. We value individuals who can work independently as well as part of a cohesive team.
