About the Role: In this position, you will be responsible for operating various earthmoving equipment on residential, commercial, and civil work sites. Your tasks will include: - Operating excavators, loaders, rollers, and other related machinery - Utilizing attachments such as buckets, scoops, hammers, and blades - Conducting site preparation, trenching, levelling, and backfilling - Following site plans, markers, or verbal directions - Performing basic maintenance, cleaning, and servicing of equipment - Ensuring safe and efficient worksite operations at all times Requirements: We are looking for experienced and practical operators who possess: - A minimum of 3 years of relevant machinery operating experience - A full New Zealand Class 1 driver's licence and WTR endorsements (essential) - Trade qualifications (an advantage, but not essential) - Your own reliable transport - Two contactable work references - Excellent attention to safety and the ability to follow site protocols - The capability to pass a pre-employment drug screen Benefits: We offer a competitive pay range of $30–$35/hr, based on your experience.
