About the Role We are currently seeking a full-time Traffic Management Operative (TMO) to join our team in Timaru. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety of our roads. You will be responsible for assisting with temporary traffic management under the guidance of a Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS). Your efforts will help ensure the safety of your crew and the public by providing clear and accurate traffic direction. As a TMO, your responsibilities will include: - Assisting with the placement and removal of signs and cones - Supporting stop/go activities - Performing driving duties as needed This position is full-time and permanent, with a work schedule that may include occasional weekends and nights, as well as on-call days. Requirements To be successful in this role, we are looking for a motivated individual who is physically fit and possesses the following: - A Class 1 full license (Class 2 preferred) - A valid TMO - P warrant - Flexibility to work occasional weekends and night shifts - A commitment to safe work practices Benefits At Downer, we value our employees and are committed to their growth and well-being.
