About the Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable people leader and sales manager for a key position at our Te Rapa retail store in Hamilton. This role is essential for driving growth and expansion within the Hamilton region. The position requires a commitment of 45 hours per week, with shifts running from Monday to Saturday.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing product profitability and sales
- Training and developing staff
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing customers
- Overseeing accurate stock management and quality control
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety procedures and processes
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A full, clean New Zealand Driver's License
- A minimum of three years of proven management experience, demonstrating your retail sales and people management skills
- Previous experience in the tyre or automotive industry
- An exceptional attitude and a positive approach to work
- A strong desire to motivate and bring out the best in your team while being an effective leader
- Strong commercial acumen and business management skills
