About the Role Are you ready to make a meaningful impact every day? We are looking for a passionate and experienced Clinical Service Manager to lead our new Kia Ora Ake service, which is part of the national Mana Ake initiative in Counties Manukau. This school-based service focuses on supporting the mental and emotional wellbeing of tamariki aged 5 to 12, their whanau, and kura/schools. This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and overseeing the delivery of high-quality, culturally responsive, and clinically sound services. You will lead a skilled multidisciplinary team and collaborate closely with kura and community partners to ensure that tamariki and their whanau receive the necessary support to thrive. Key responsibilities for this role include: - Providing clinical leadership, supervision, and coaching to clinicians and Kaimanaaki support workers. - Overseeing assessments and interventions that enhance the wellbeing of tamariki. - Building strong, collaborative relationships with kura, whanau, and community services. - Ensuring that services meet quality, reporting, and contractual requirements. - Supporting team development while fostering a positive and inclusive team culture. About You We are seeking a confident and compassionate leader who thrives in cross-sector and community-based environments. You will bring a blend of clinical expertise, cultural responsiveness, and team leadership experience. In addition, you will have: - Full professional registration with a current Annual Practicing Certificate (e.g., Registered Social Worker, Psychologist, Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or DAPAANZ-registered AOD Clinician). - A minimum of one year of experience leading or managing teams. - Solid experience in delivering child or youth mental health interventions. - Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively with kura, whanau, and external agencies. - A full New Zealand driver’s license and the ability to travel locally as needed.
