About the Role We are currently seeking applications for a permanent part-time Health Care Assistant position at Tauranga Hospital, specifically in Surgical Ward 3B. This role is for 0.7 FTE, equivalent to 28 hours per week, and includes fixed, rostered shifts. You will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic surgical environment. In Surgical Ward 3B, we provide specialized care for patients undergoing Vascular and ENT surgery, along with exposure to general surgical, medical, and orthopedic patients. As a Health Care Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to support Registered Nurses in delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate care across various clinical needs and age groups. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured and clinically focused setting and enjoys assisting in recovery following complex surgical procedures.
