About the Role
We are excited to offer a fixed-term, part-time position (0.5 FTE) at our Tauranga Child Development Service within Bay of Plenty Hauora a Toi. This role will provide maternity leave cover from September 1, 2025, to August 28, 2026, with a commitment of 20 hours per week.
In this position, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of seven different disciplines, focusing on supporting babies and children up to the age of five who have disabilities in a community setting. We are looking for a passionate therapist who is dedicated to providing exceptional Dietetic care for our young clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in Paediatrics and will work closely with our team to deliver comprehensive services that support both the child and their family.

About You
We are seeking a candidate who possesses the following qualifications:
- Previous experience in Paediatric dietetics within a community setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of the nutrition care process and relevant terminology.
- Excellent IT skills, along with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively within a team to achieve patient and whānau-focused goals.
- A commitment to evidence-based practice.
- A genuine passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of others, coupled with strong cultural awareness.
