About the Role We are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as permanent, full-time Support Workers. This role involves providing essential support to individuals in our Taranaki residential services, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. As a Support Worker, you will engage in a variety of tasks that assist individuals with their daily living activities. Your responsibilities may include facilitating recreational activities, providing personal care, assisting with meal preparation, managing household tasks, and teaching valuable life skills. This diverse position requires you to work shifts or specific rosters, offering 24/7 support, with the possibility of additional sleepover payments for certain schedules. Requirements We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping others and possess a kind, understanding nature. While previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, especially with disabilities and challenging behaviors, we value a proactive attitude and the ability to inspire individuals to achieve their goals. Key requirements include: - A full driver’s license - The ability to work flexibility across various shifts, including overnight and weekends - Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness, as our clients come from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and interests Benefits We take pride in our commitment to our employees and offer competitive pay rates ranging from $23.50 to $29.10 per hour.
