About the Role
We are currently seeking empathetic and passionate Support Workers to join our Community Services team. This role offers flexibility, whether you need adaptable hours to fit around other commitments or prefer regular rostered shifts. We have a range of permanent (full-time and part-time) and casual positions available.
As a Support Worker, you will be an integral part of a wider team dedicated to assisting our clients in achieving their personal goals and maximizing their potential. You will provide both practical and emotional support to help them live independently within their homes and communities.
Your responsibilities will vary and may include following a care plan that involves:
- Meal preparation
- Community outings and integration
- Administering medication
- Personal care tasks such as showering and toileting
- Home management
Requirements

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $23.97 to $29.68, depending on experience and qualifications.
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to support others
- Previous experience in healthcare or caregiving is preferred, but not essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Healthcare qualifications are advantageous
- A full New Zealand driver's licence and reliable transport for most positions
