About the Role
We are currently seeking clinical editors to join our HealthPathways team, which provides an online clinical guidance platform specifically designed for clinicians within the Canterbury Health System. This initiative is a collaborative effort between the Canterbury District Health Board and Streamliners, a technical writing organization.
In this role, you will primarily focus on Hospital HealthPathways, working as a clinical editor to author pathways with the necessary support and expert input. Please note that this position does not involve direct clinical or patient contact. We have both 0.5 FTE and 1.0 FTE positions available.

About You
We are looking for candidates who have completed their PGY2 and have experience in various hospital departments. A strong understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application in healthcare is essential, along with a commitment to growing an equity lens and skillset, particularly in support of Māori and minority groups.
Preference will be given to those who are familiar with local hospital systems and have established relationships with local clinicians. Candidates must also be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You can verify your eligibility by visiting the Council's website.
