About the Role We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee the installation of kitchens and other joinery projects across the Queenstown area. In this varied role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the delivery, installation, and finishing of both residential and commercial projects. You will manage the pipeline of work, schedule installers for expected deliveries, and ensure that all materials arrive intact and on time. After installation, you will be responsible for signing off on all finishing work, addressing minor details yourself before handing over to the client. Your daily tasks will also include taking site measurements, liaising with client project managers and our internal team, and managing relevant paperwork. Requirements To thrive in this role, you should possess the following skills and attributes: - You are a skilled cabinetmaker or finishing carpenter with your own tools, enabling you to resolve issues on-site efficiently. - You have a keen eye for detail and are meticulous in your work, addressing imperfections and their underlying causes to prevent recurrence. - You are tech-savvy and comfortable using calendars and planning tools to manage dates and resources effectively. - You are highly organized, capable of handling multiple sites and projects simultaneously. - You possess strong problem-solving skills, allowing you to think clearly and act confidently when challenges arise. - You are positive, professional, and able to build trust with clients and project managers through effective communication. Additionally, a full and clean driver's license is required. Benefits In this role, you will earn between $40 and $45 per hour, depending on your experience, and you will work 40 hours each week.
