About the Role We are currently seeking Scaffolders who are organized, trustworthy, and take pride in delivering quality workmanship. The ideal candidate will be motivated and driven to achieve results. This position may require travel across the country to support various projects, so flexibility in work locations is preferred. The Scaffolder will be responsible for the following tasks: - Building and erecting scaffolding and working platforms for construction projects, as well as creating stands and tiered seating for public events such as concerts and sporting events. - Inspecting areas that require scaffolding and calculating the necessary scaffolding types, unloading materials, and fitting tubing and braces together to create frameworks, while also installing ladders, rails, and other attachments. - Checking and maintaining scaffolding equipment, inspecting scaffolding structures for safety, and dismantling scaffolding upon project completion. - Performing any other duties as assigned. Requirements To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria: - A minimum of one year of relevant scaffolding experience. - A friendly demeanor, strong time management skills, and an excellent work ethic. - A commitment to learning and developing skills within the industry. - A solid understanding of health and safety procedures. - Reliability and a strong work ethic. Benefits The pay for this position ranges from a minimum of $27.76 per hour to a maximum of $35.00 per hour. We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours of work per week. The primary work locations for this role include Auckland, Waikato, Northland, Nelson, Canterbury, and Otago. This is a permanent, full-time position.
