About the Role
In this position, you will be engaged in a variety of commercial carpentry tasks, primarily concentrating on formwork and framing at the outset. Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing carpentry work on commercial builds
- Ensuring full compliance with New Zealand building codes and safety protocols
- Working autonomously or as part of a team to meet project timelines
- Effectively problem-solving on-site to maintain client satisfaction
- Collaborating with other trades and team members on new construction projects
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should ideally possess a Level 4 Certificate in Carpentry. We are looking for candidates with:
- Commercial carpentry experience and a solid track record of working on large-scale commercial projects
- Your own reliable carpentry tools and dependable transport
- The ability to provide two working references
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, thriving in a team environment
- The ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
