About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced carpenter to start immediately. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated and supportive team, gaining valuable experience and enhancing your skills. Your work will involve engaging in exciting projects with reputable construction companies, contributing to high-profile, long-term initiatives. Key Responsibilities You will perform a wide range of carpentry tasks, including framing, foundations, and the installation of windows, doors, and other fixtures. Your responsibilities will include: - Reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans to ensure work aligns with specifications. - Adhering to safety standards on-site. - Collaborating effectively with your team, ensuring clear communication to complete tasks efficiently. - Being comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. - Occasionally working on Saturdays as needed. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should have: - A minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a carpenter in New Zealand. - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work. - A complete tool kit necessary for carrying out carpentry duties. - Reliable transport and a punctual work ethic. - Site Safe certification is advantageous but not required.
