About the Role We are currently seeking experienced Formworkers to join our team in Christchurch on a long-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our projects, where your expertise in formwork, concreting, and carpentry will be highly valued. Wages for this position range from $28.00 to $35.00 per hour, and we can offer immediate starts for the right candidates. What You Will Be Doing In this role, you will be responsible for creating formwork for a variety of concrete structures, including walls, slabs, tilt slabs, retaining walls, and pre-cast panels. You will read and interpret plans to ensure accuracy in your work, prop and integrate steel reinforcements for structural strength, and utilize proprietary systems such as Doka and Altrad. Additionally, you will maintain health and safety compliance on-site. What We Require To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate proven experience as a Formworker with a solid track record in civil projects. We are looking for individuals who can work autonomously as well as within a team environment. You should possess a full toolkit and have proficiency in concreting, formwork, carpentry, and various designs. A strong focus on health and safety is essential. Additionally, you will need to hold a valid Site Safe and/or Construct Safe certification (or be willing to obtain one, as we can assist you with this), a Class 1 driver's license, and reliable transportation. Finally, all applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand and be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
