About the Role We are currently seeking a Senior Formworker and Hammerhands to join our dedicated team on a project located just 10 minutes south of Christchurch. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are ready to make an impact in the construction of concrete chambers. As a Senior Formworker, you will take on a hands-on role, leading by example and ensuring the team operates efficiently. Your experience with Formshore systems will be highly valued. As a Hammerhand, you will assist the team with boxing, general formwork tasks, and site preparation. We are looking for reliable individuals who are eager to work hard and develop their skills alongside a supportive crew. Requirements - Proven experience in formwork or concrete construction - Leadership skills and site management experience (for Senior Formworker position) - Familiarity with Formshore or similar systems is preferred - Full PPE and Site Safe ticket (preferred; we can assist with this) - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test - Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude - All applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand Benefits - Competitive hourly rate ranging from $28.00 to $35.00, based on experience - Immediate start available - 45-hour work week - Ongoing work opportunities - Supportive, team-focused environment - Convenient location with minimal commute What You Will Be Doing - Constructing and boxing concrete chambers - Placing inserts and pouring concrete - Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work site - Leading and supporting the team on-site (Senior Formworker) - Working both indoors and outdoors in a factory environment Why Choose Max People?
