We are currently seeking full-time Waterproofers to join our team and contribute to various residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. About the Role We are looking for reliable and skilled Waterproofers to work across multiple regions of New Zealand. This role offers a full-time, permanent position with a minimum guarantee of 30 hours per week. You will have opportunities for nationwide deployment based on project demands. Ideal candidates will possess experience with various waterproofing systems and materials and be open to relocating or traveling as needed. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for: - Applying waterproofing membranes and protective coatings to foundations, basements, balconies, and roofs. - Interpreting job specifications and safety requirements. - Operating hand and power tools specific to waterproofing tasks. - Adhering to building code standards and health and safety guidelines. - Working effectively across different job sites and environments. Requirements To be considered for this position, you should have: - A minimum of 2 years’ experience in waterproofing, either locally or overseas. - Familiarity with torch-on membranes, liquid systems, and sealants. - A trade qualification or NZQA-recognized experience is preferred. - The ability to work independently and travel between job sites. - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Nationwide Opportunity and Travel While this position is listed in Otago, we are recruiting for roles that will be deployed throughout all regions of New Zealand, based on project requirements. These regions include: North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Manawatū-Whanganui, Wellington. South Island: Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland. We invite applicants from any of these regions, and candidates must be willing to travel or relocate as necessary. Relocation costs will be covered by our company. Benefits - Competitive pay ranging from $26.00 to $40.00 per hour. - Minimum of 30 hours guaranteed per week. - Full-time, permanent roles. - Provision of PPE and tools where required. - Opportunities for nationwide deployment.
