In this role, you will act as a vital link between our branches and our customers, ensuring their projects run smoothly, regardless of size. We provide comprehensive training and development to help you succeed. Your responsibilities will include: - Instructing and demonstrating the safe use of our equipment to customers. - Performing pickups and deliveries of equipment, which involves safely loading and unloading. - Delivering exceptional customer service in every interaction. - Maintaining our equipment quality through regular servicing and minor repairs. - Cleaning branch facilities and maintaining equipment as needed. - Conducting equipment check-in and check-out inspections. About You We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds, including customer service, construction, hospitality, retail, driving, landscaping, and maintenance. To be successful in this role, you will need: - A valid driver's license. - Availability to work some weekends on a rotating roster. - The ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods, along with a level of physical fitness. - Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to learning. - An interest in machinery and equipment (training will be provided). - A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team. Salary Breakdown The base salary for this position is $58,500, with the potential for a profit share of up to $4,000. Additionally, a weekend allowance of $2,340 is available, along with KiwiSaver options. The profit share is variable and paid twice a year, based on branch and company performance as well as quality standards. The weekend allowance is contingent on the number of weekend days worked, providing $90 for a full day or $45 for a half day.
