About the Company We are a reputable scaffolding company based in Christchurch, dedicated to delivering high-quality services and materials to our clients. Our team values professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic. We are currently seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to join us in a full-time, ongoing role. About the Role In this position, you will be responsible for delivering materials to various job sites throughout the South side of town. A valid Class 2 driver’s license is essential, and we are looking for someone who is a confident and skilled driver. In addition to your driving responsibilities, you will need to be physically fit, as a significant portion of your day will involve labouring tasks. This includes lifting scaffolding poles and other heavy materials. While previous scaffolding experience is advantageous, it is not a requirement. We value a strong willingness to learn and contribute to the team. Holding a Site Safe certification is crucial for this role; however, we are happy to assist you in obtaining this certification if you do not already possess it. Requirements - Valid Class 2 driver’s license - Confidence in driving and delivering materials to job sites - Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and labouring tasks - Willingness to learn about scaffolding and related tasks - Site Safe certification (we can assist with this if needed) - Reliable transport to commute to the site each day - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test Benefits This role offers a structured work schedule, starting at 7 AM and typically involving around 50 hours of work per week, with finishing times that may vary based on workload.
