We are currently at an exciting juncture as we work to build a dynamic team culture within our organization. About the Role We are seeking a motivated Class 2 Driver to join our Christchurch branch. This role is essential for assisting with our Metro deliveries using tail lifts and pallet jacks. The position requires a commitment to ensuring the safe handling of freight to meet our delivery targets. This is a full-time position with shifts scheduled from Monday to Friday, starting at 6:30 AM, totaling 40 hours per week. What You'll Do In this role, you will be responsible for: - Safely loading and unloading freight - Delivering and picking up items on time and in full - Ensuring that freight is handled and scanned with minimal damage - Actively participating in all safety processes and procedures - Operating your vehicle in a safe and legal manner at all times What Will You Bring? To be successful in this position, you should have: - A clean Full NZ Class 2 licence - Preferably a Dangerous Goods (DG) licence and OSH Forklift certifications - Experience driving trucks and trailers - Familiarity with New Zealand roads - A customer-focused attitude - Strong communication and teamwork skills Benefits We prioritize our people and are committed to promoting from within.
