About the Role
In this role, you will collaborate closely with project teams to implement effective project management processes and provide administrative support to the broader Hospital Network programme team. Your responsibilities will include aiding in project planning and resource scheduling for the Hospital Network programme and Front of Whare projects.
You will play a key role in ensuring successful project delivery by supporting governance processes and meeting requirements. This includes administrative tasks associated with meeting documentation, project plans, and support for affected services and stakeholders. The salary for this position ranges from $75,201 to $83,092, depending on your skills and experience.
About the Team/Service Location
Health New Zealand Capital Coast Hutt Valley District is actively planning and implementing significant changes across various infrastructure, service, and operational change programmes. The Hospital Network Programme is focused on developing our network of hospitals in the district. Currently, we are concentrating on the Wellington Regional Hospital Emergency Department refurbishment project (Front of Whare), which aims to relocate and expand our Emergency Department, along with several other acute services on the Wellington Regional Hospital site. This is a major multi-year infrastructure project that will bring substantial changes for our services, staff, and patients. In the long term, we will also be planning for the future development of our hospital sites and services.
About You
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Proven administration skills
- Knowledge of quality standards and project lifecycle processes
- Experience in supporting and delivering project work
- Background in a Programme/Project Management environment
- Proficient use of MS Office and MS Teams
