About the Role
In this position, you will lead land development and infrastructure projects. As a skilled leader with both technical and commercial expertise, you will have the opportunity to grow a team, build positive client relationships, and introduce new ideas. You will oversee the operations, budget, and profitability of our North Island office, playing a crucial role in our continued success.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the technical delivery of a range of civil engineering projects, particularly focusing on the land development sector.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on financial reporting.
- Assist in office operations and the hiring of staff.
- Promote good health and safety practices within the team.
- Ensure timely delivery of project outcomes.
Requirements
- Relevant engineering qualifications and registration with Engineering NZ (CPEng is highly regarded).
- Experience working as a Civil Engineer with a portfolio of land development and/or infrastructure projects.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Familiarity with financial reporting and project delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
