About the Role
In this leadership position, you will manage and mentor a high-performing structural team while serving as a Project Director on a variety of seismic and technically challenging builds. You will work closely with the Director to help shape our strategic direction, with a clear pathway toward equity and future succession opportunities.
This role presents a unique chance for a Chartered Engineer to advance into senior leadership while remaining actively involved in technical delivery and overarching design aspects.
Duties
- Lead and manage the structural engineering team across multiple projects.
- Oversee and approve technical designs to ensure seismic compliance.
- Act as Project Director on complex builds and seismic strengthening projects.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, providing guidance and technical support.
- Collaborate with the Director on business strategy and client engagement.
Skills and Experience
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) designation.
- Approximately 10 years of experience in structural engineering.
- Strong background in seismic design and retrofitting.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
