About the Role We are in search of a highly motivated and resilient Key Account Manager to oversee and expand our most important customer relationships. This role is not your typical account management position; it requires a unique blend of professionalism, proactive communication, and an unwavering commitment to service excellence. As the primary point of contact for high-value accounts, you will manage complex customer expectations while fostering positive relationships. You will proactively drive sales, margins, and profitability across your accounts, and provide expert product knowledge across various categories, including dry, chilled, frozen, and fresh products. Your responsibilities will include preparing and presenting professional quotations, pricing, and reports, ensuring all communications meet our high standards. You will coordinate with our procurement, warehouse, and distribution teams to ensure seamless service delivery, stepping in to assist when necessary. Additionally, you will maintain meticulous records and reporting through our company systems while ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, and company policies at all times. Requirements We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications: - Proven experience in key account management, sales, or hospitality/foodservice operations - Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to handle demanding customers in a calm and professional manner - Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail; accuracy is essential in this role - A proactive, solutions-focused approach; you should anticipate problems and create solutions - Resilience and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure - A current Class 4 license or the willingness to obtain one - A team player mentality, combined with the independence to manage your accounts effectively Why This Role Matters Our key accounts represent some of the most critical customers in our business, and while they can be challenging, they also offer immense opportunities for growth and success.
