About the Role
We are currently seeking Urgent Care trained doctors, or those with equivalent experience, to join our dynamic team at the Kenepuru Accident and Medical Clinic, located within Kenepuru Community Hospital. This clinic serves approximately 36,000 patients annually and plays a vital role in the healthcare of the Porirua basin.
Our clinic is staffed by highly skilled nurses and administrative personnel employed by Capital Coast. We are an RNZCUC accredited facility, employing Urgent Care Physicians and working closely with independent medical staff and local GPs to ensure comprehensive roster coverage. We offer regular or casual overnight work, as well as day, evening, or weekend shifts on a casual basis.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Current registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
- Experience as an Urgent Care Physician, Trainee Emergency Department Physician, or General Practitioner with confidence in Urgent Care
- Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of medical care
- Relevant training and experience in urgent care settings
