About the Role
We are currently seeking Urgent Care trained doctors or those with equivalent experience to join our dedicated and skilled team at the Kenepuru Accident and Medical Clinic located at Kenepuru Community Hospital. This clinic serves approximately 36,000 patients annually, providing essential services to the Porirua basin.
The clinic is staffed by employed nurses and administrative personnel, and it is accredited by the RNZCUC. We employ Urgent Care Physicians and also collaborate with independent medical staff and local general practitioners to ensure comprehensive coverage of our roster.
We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
- Experience as Urgent Care Physicians or Trainees, Emergency Department Physicians or Trainees, or General Practitioners with confidence in Urgent Care
- Ability to work independently
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of medical care
- Relevant training and experience
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must currently be based in New Zealand. We offer contract options for regular or casual overnight work, as well as day, evening, and weekend shifts on a casual basis.
