About the Role
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for individuals to contribute to the development and leadership of our expanding Nursing Studies program. This includes specialty postgraduate courses, Master's degrees with pathways to Nurse Practitioner roles, and PhD research.
As a Professional Practice Fellow Academic Liaison Nurse, you will support teaching across various papers and clinical settings at the postgraduate level within your area of specialization. Your responsibilities will encompass preparation, assessment, teaching, and paper administration duties, all performed under the supervision of an academic colleague who oversees course design and delivery.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess appropriate professional experience and are dedicated to advancing nursing education. Applicants must be registered nurses with a Master's degree and relevant recent clinical experience.
Candidates should hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate or be eligible for registration in New Zealand, along with extensive clinical experience.

We welcome applications for joint clinical positions, where candidates can maintain a focus on research, consultative roles, and/or clinical specialties.
We currently have multiple permanent, part-time opportunities (0.4 FTE) available in Christchurch.
The salary range for a Professional Practice Fellow is between $73,166 and $99,420 per annum, pro-rata. For Senior Professional Practice Fellows, the range is $102,092 to $132,796 per annum, pro-rata. Appointments will be made based on qualifications and experience.
