About the Role We are seeking a dedicated individual to oversee a District Nursing team, supported by schedulers, administrative staff, and a second-in-charge (2IC). In this role, you will manage daily operations, provide clinical supervision, and offer staff support. Alongside the 2IC, you will be responsible for managing the roster and addressing daily staffing needs. This position involves providing hands-on nursing support to clients in the community or collaborating with other nurses when necessary. You will work Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with one early start each week at 7:00 AM, allowing you to finish at 3:30 PM. The role is based in our Christchurch office, with occasional use of our Kaiapoi office. About You The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with a minimum of five years of practical experience, preferably in community nursing. We are looking for someone with natural leadership abilities and a proven track record of driving innovation and service improvement. A passion for clinical education and staff development is essential. You should be flexible, adaptable, and confident in a dynamic work environment. Strong communication skills and proficiency in IT are also important for success in this role. Benefits We offer a competitive salary range between $92,877.20 and $102,795.20, along with a company car that allows for some personal use.
