About the Role
We are looking for a Service Person Driver to join our team in Queenstown. In this role, you will be the face of Kennards Hire, acting as a crucial link between our branches and our customers' projects, regardless of their scale. We provide comprehensive training and support to help you succeed.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Instructing and demonstrating how to safely use our equipment to customers.
- Performing the pickup and delivery of equipment, ensuring safe loading and unloading.
- Providing exceptional customer service during all interactions.
- Maintaining high standards for our equipment through regular servicing and minor repairs.
- Cleaning branch facilities and maintaining equipment as needed.
- Conducting equipment check-ins and check-outs.
About You
We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, including customer service, construction, hospitality, retail, landscaping, and trade. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A valid driver's license.
- Availability to work on weekends as part of a rotating roster.
- Physical fitness to handle lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning.
- An interest in machinery and equipment, with training provided.
- A positive and collaborative approach to teamwork.

Salary Breakdown
The position offers a base salary of $58,500, with a profit share potential of up to $4,000 paid biannually, as well as a weekend allowance of $2,340. The weekend allowance is contingent upon the number of weekend days worked throughout the year. As part of our recruitment process, background checks, including police and medical assessments, will be required.
