Our aim is simple—make our customers' jobs easier. About the Role We are looking for a Service Person Driver to join our team in Queenstown. In this role, you will be the face of Kennards Hire, acting as a crucial link between our branches and our customers' projects, regardless of their scale. We provide comprehensive training and support to help you succeed. Your responsibilities will include: - Instructing and demonstrating how to safely use our equipment to customers. - Performing the pickup and delivery of equipment, ensuring safe loading and unloading. - Providing exceptional customer service during all interactions. - Maintaining high standards for our equipment through regular servicing and minor repairs. - Cleaning branch facilities and maintaining equipment as needed. - Conducting equipment check-ins and check-outs. About You We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, including customer service, construction, hospitality, retail, landscaping, and trade. The ideal candidate will possess: - A valid driver's license. - Availability to work on weekends as part of a rotating roster. - Physical fitness to handle lifting and standing for extended periods. - Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning. - An interest in machinery and equipment, with training provided. - A positive and collaborative approach to teamwork. Salary Breakdown The position offers a base salary of $58,500, with a profit share potential of up to $4,000 paid biannually, as well as a weekend allowance of $2,340. The weekend allowance is contingent upon the number of weekend days worked throughout the year.
