About the Role
In the role of Service Person Driver, you will serve as the vital link between our customers and the Kennards Hire branch. We will equip you with the necessary training and development to excel in your position. Your responsibilities will include providing expert advice, managing pickups and deliveries, and ensuring our equipment is in prime condition for hire.
Key responsibilities include:
- Instructing and demonstrating safe equipment usage to customers.
- Performing equipment pickups and deliveries, including safe loading and unloading.
- Delivering exceptional customer service in all interactions.
- Maintaining high standards of equipment quality through regular servicing and minor repairs.
- Cleaning branch facilities and performing equipment maintenance as needed.
- Conducting equipment check-in and check-out inspections.
About You

- A valid driver's license.
- Availability to work weekends on a rotating roster.
- Physical ability to lift and stand for extended periods.

Salary Breakdown
The salary package includes a base salary of $58,500, with a potential profit share of up to $4,000, and a weekend allowance that can reach $2,340, along with Kiwisaver (opt-in option). Please note that the profit share is variable and paid twice a year based on branch and company performance, while the weekend allowance is contingent upon the number of weekend days worked.
